Olympic Schedule | Typography II | 2024

The "Olympic Schedule" project challenges students to redesign the Paris 2024 Olympic competition schedule, focusing on the principles of typographic hierarchy and clarity. Students are tasked with taking a large dataset and transforming it into an organized, glanceable, and readable structure for print. Using InDesign’s table feature, they must create a two-color schedule that fits on an 11" x 17" page, exploring the relationship between typography and information design. This project encourages students to master typographic detail, ensuring legibility and visual hierarchy while working within the limitations of only two type families and colors.
